1) Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to information processed by Wishly in connection with the Wishly mobile application and related services (the “Service”).
2) Information we collect
We collect information in three ways: (a) information you provide, (b) information collected automatically, and (c) information collected with permissions you grant.
- Account information: name, username, and email address.
- Customer support: the content of messages you send to support and any information you include.
- Automatically collected: device/app information, log data, usage statistics, crash logs, and diagnostics.
- Location (optional): precise and/or approximate location when you grant permission (based on your device settings).
- Cookies and similar technologies: used for login, session continuity, and preferences; web beacons may be used in web-based parts of the Service.
3) How we use information
- Provide and maintain the Service.
- Personalize your experience.
- Improve and develop the Service (analytics, debugging, reliability).
- Safety and security (fraud prevention, abuse detection).
- Customer support.
- Legal compliance and responding to lawful requests.
4) Photos, face data, and content processing
- No facial recognition / no biometrics: we do not perform facial recognition or biometric identification and do not create or store biometric templates.
- One-time processing and deletion: if you choose to use features that process images, videos, or text for effects or automated results, the content you upload for that processing is handled on our own servers, is not shared with any third party, and is deleted immediately after processing is completed.
- Local storage by default: where applicable, generated results are stored locally on your device by default.
- Not used for training or marketing: we do not use your photos, videos, or generated results to train models or for advertising/marketing purposes.
6) Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption, access controls, regular reviews/audits, and backups. No system is 100% secure.
7) Retention
- Account information: retained while your account is active.
- After account deletion: deleted or anonymized within 30 days, unless retention is required for legal/safety reasons.
- Usage data: up to 12 months.
- Customer support content: up to 6 months.
8) Your rights and choices
You may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, or withdraw consent (for example, location). To make a request, email bxorqgezhh5424@outlook.com. We will respond within 5 business days where feasible and as required by law.
9) Age limit (17+)
The Service is intended for users aged 17 and older and is not directed to children under 17. If we learn we collected information from someone under 17, we will take steps to delete it.
10) Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the effective date above and may provide additional notice in the Service where appropriate.
